‘ Tropical flower shapes are so bold and structural. To show them off against a soft dark background I layered up bright colours underneath black oil pastel. You can hardly tell they are there but the tiny flecks break up the black. Then I picked out areas and highlighted with inks, more oils, and pencils.‘ SR
